JB Lee

JB Lee is an energy industry executive with 20 years of experience in electric power industries in the US and Asia. He originated, developed and financed renewable energy projects representing over $3 billion in invested capital, and has assumed cross-functional leadership in strategy, development and M&A and worked across various technologies including solar, wind, storage and hydrogen.

As Region Director, Development at SB Energy, JB is leading the company’s utility scale solar and storage project development activities in WECC and ERCOT. Prior to SB Energy, he worked for industry leading companies such as NRG, BayWa r.e., and Edison Energy in various capacities.

JB earned his MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, his BA at Seoul National University. He is a CFA charterholder.
