Spencer has over 14 years of project finance and corporate finance experience with over $17 billion transactions. He joined Avantus Clean Energy in 2021 and works on large strategic and transformative projects. Previously, he was with Origis Energy for 4 years, headed up the west coast finance team. Prior to that, he was with Sempra Energy in the Global Treasury department. Some notable deals include: Sempra Mexico initial public offering, numerous solar and wind project financings, Cameron LNG project financing, corporate revolver, and LC facilities.
