Daniel Dedrick is the Senior Manager of Technology and Product at the Clearway Energy Group. He has over 15 years of experience in renewable energy systems engineering, technology, and project development. At Clearway, Daniel is responsible for developing the technology platform for solar, wind, and energy storage systems associated with the company’s 4.1 GW of renewable energy assets and its multi-gigawatt pipeline of solar and wind. Daniel leads Clearway’s Energy Storage Systems Development Engineering including PV and storage plant design and optimization and EPC of renewables and storage facilities. Daniel’s experience spans the public and private sector with leadership roles in technology development, renewables power system engineering, and project development. Previously at SunPower, a leading solar PV technology company and project developer, Daniel led the Performance Engineering organization which developed the performance basis for all SunPower products. At Sandia National Labs, Daniel was responsible for the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Program, which provided international R&D leadership in hydrogen production, safety, codes and standards, and storage. Daniel holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
