Feizhen Lu

Feizhen Lu is a seasoned global technology executive with over 30 years of leadership experience spanning renewable energy, telecommunications, clean technology, and financing. She currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Procurement and Supply Chain at Hecate Energy, a leading developer of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. In this role, she is responsible for optimizing global equipment procurement and supply chain operations.

Throughout her career, Feizhen has demonstrated a remarkable ability to build businesses from inception to profitability. Prior to Hecate, she founded and led two solar energy companies. As CEO of Sungrow Canada Inc., a joint venture with Sungrow Power China, she established a inverter manufacturing plant in Canada and managed all North American sales and marketing. She also co-founded HiSEL Power Corporation, where she oversaw the development of hybrid solar inverters for diverse global markets.

Before transitioning to the renewable energy sector, Feizhen spent 14 years in senior leadership at ZTE Corporation. During her tenure, she rose from a research engineer to President of the North America Region, playing a pivotal role in expanding ZTE’s international presence across Asia, Africa, and the Americas. She has managed cross-functional teams of up to 3,500 people and has conducted business in nearly 80 countries, giving her a unique global perspective on complex supply chains^.

Feizhen holds a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
