Orgil Batsaikhan

President & CFO WTG Energy

Orgil Batsaikhan is a finance executive and energy infrastructure leader with over 15 years of experience spanning corporate finance, capital markets, M&A, and the development of large-scale pipeline infrastructure assets. He began his career with Access Midstream Partners, a publicly traded pipeline MLP with operations across the Lower 48, where he supported corporate finance initiatives and an active capital markets program. Following Access’ acquisition by Williams Companies, Orgil joined Williams’ corporate development team, focusing on acquisitions, capital markets, and the financial evaluation of major gas gathering, processing, and transmission projects.

In 2017, Orgil partnered with Charlie Beecherl to cofound Cureton Midstream, LLC, a greenfield natural gas gathering and processing business in Colorado’s Denver-Julesburg Basin. As Vice President of Finance and later Chief Financial Officer, he helped guide Cureton through a period of rapid growth, combining disciplined financial leadership with a focus on execution as the company scaled to become a trusted midstream provider in the basin. Cureton’s growth culminated in a successful $560 million sale to Williams Companies in 2023.

Shortly following the transaction, Orgil and Charlie joined the leadership ranks of WTG Energy. Formerly known as West Texas Gas, WTG Energy is a privately held natural gas utility and transmission company proudly serving industrial, commercial, and residential customers since 1976. WTG owns and operates approximately 8,000 miles of pipelines, comprised of a diverse portfolio of regulated and unregulated natural gas assets, including high-pressure transmission systems, last-mile industrial interconnects, and utility distribution networks. As President & CFO of WTG Energy, Orgil oversees operations and support functions and is responsible for executing the company’s vision and business strategies.

Orgil holds an MBA and an MSc in Finance and Risk Management from the University of Tulsa and has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder since 2017.
