Kevin Imboden is a seasoned expert in the commercial real estate and data center industries, bringing over 15 years of experience in market analysis, strategy, and research. Since joining EdgeConneX in 2022, Kevin has been instrumental in advising hyperscalers, operators, and investors on strategy, site selection, sustainability, and other mission-critical initiatives. He also spearheads the company’s global site selection strategy and internal market reporting.

Kevin’s career highlights include producing over 100 geographical and topical data center reports, rebuilding internal data structures and methodologies at Cushman & Wakefield, and creating the Global Market Comparison flagship report, a vital resource for thousands of data center professionals annually. At Real Capital Analytics, he played a key role in developing the first fully international commercial real estate platform and led global research programs. Additionally, Kevin has managed research teams across Silicon Valley, New York, and London, showcasing his leadership and global expertise.

With a deep understanding of the global data center industry, international capital flows, and macroeconomics, Kevin is a sought-after speaker and podcast guest, known for his ability to analyze and forecast market trends. He is also the proud co-chair of the CultureXchange Committee at EdgeConneX, reflecting his commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace culture.

Kevin holds a combined degree in Business Management and Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Beyond his professional pursuits, he has served on several boards, including as Chair of the Board of Directors for Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA) and as Board Secretary for Umunhum Brewing.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys traveling, playing basketball, practicing yoga, hiking, running, strumming the ukulele, baking delicious treats, and following the high-speed world of Formula 1.
