The Clean Coalition is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to accelerate the transition to renewable energy and a modern grid through technical, policy, and project development expertise. The Clean Coalition drives policy innovation to remove barriers to procurement and interconnection of distributed energy resources (DER) – such as local renewables, advanced inverters, demand response, and energy storage – and we establish market mechanisms that realize the full potential of integrating these solutions. The Clean Coalition also collaborates with utilities and municipalities to create near-term deployment opportunities that prove the technical and financial viability of local renewables and other DER.

Associations
Founded in 2016, Energy Storage Canada (ESC) is a not-for-profit organization and the only national trade association in Canada dedicated solely to the growth and market development of the country’s energy storage sector as a means of accelerating the realization of Canada’s ongoing energy transition and Net Zero goals through advocacy, education, collaboration, and research. ESC’s technology-agnostic approach allows for a diverse membership of 85 members (and growing!) representing the end-to-end value chain of the country’s energy storage industry including technology and component providers, project developers, energy storage service providers, power generators, electric utilities, engineering, and construction firms, as well as professional services companies and NGOs. We offer opportunities for leadership, access to experts and government representatives, in addition to providing forums for engaging with current policy, regulation, and discussions related to energy storage in Canada at the national level, which contribute to the advocacy, research, and stakeholder education provided by Energy Storage Canada.
