Yan Wang

Dr. Yan WANG is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in product development and enterprise management in the photovoltaic industry. He is CEO and one of the co-founders of Quantified Energy Labs (QE-Labs), a Singapore-based deep-tech company that is at the forefront of the application of computer vision technology and artificial intelligence to the field of photovoltaic power generation. Since its founding in January 2019, QE-Labs has introduced a ground-breaking drone coupled electroluminescence (EL) mapping and quantitative rating solution for inspection of installed solar panels, which has laid a solid foundation in cost-effective technical solar asset management. Prior to founding QE-Labs, Dr. Wang served as the Director of PV module cluster at the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) and as a Senior Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS). During his time at SERIS/NUS, he also served as the Singapore expert in the International Electrotechnical Commission Photovoltaic Systems Professional Committee (IEC TC82).
